Master Bathroom layout did not function well as it was more of a multi purpose room --master bath & closet. Neither one working well. So we gained square footage by adding space over the garage. Now we have a to dream for sized master closet & fabulous master bathroom.
Exterior refresh. We added the stone work, shed roof over the garage & corbels. We also reworked the exterior front porch to give it current curb appeal. The Azek silver oak decking has a natural feel & highlights the stone.
We removed the laundry room from the main floor mudroom & moved it upstairs. In the mudroom we tiled the floor & installed new lockers & command center. Master closet we moved the entrance into the closet to gain additional closet storage & remodeled the mater bathroom removing the tub, enlarging the shower substantially & gained storage.
Kitchen remodel taking this typical 1990's poorly laid out kitchen into the fully functioning work horse of today. Seating space at the island for entertaining & informal dining. Plenty of prep countertop space with secondary prep sink & built in butcher block. Beverage ref allowing the main ref strictly for food. Breakfast center hiding the everyday breakfast essentials when not in use, but keeping them readily available.
Cherry arts n crafts cabinetry, clear oak flooring, Giallo Napoleon granite.
The kitchen had recently been remodeled in this 1980's home, but the family had outgrown every area of the home including the kitchen space. We overhauled almost every corner of this house. We added on to the garage, added the master suite above the garage, added storage space beneath the garage, added 2nd floor home office & deck, added on to the kitchen & added lower level guest suite. This family of 6 has plenty of room now (& room to grow).
