The original 90s maple and black granite cabinets no longer suited the desired soft, modern aesthetic for this kitchen remodel. To create a more open and inviting space, we removed the closet and pillars that blocked the kitchen from the rest of the main floor. High-end Thermador and Subzero appliances were installed, along with a spacious two-tiered island and two sinks for prep. A secondary island between the kitchen and dining area was added, perfect for entertaining, while we opened up sightlines to showcase breathtaking lake views from every corner.
The design was further elevated with stunning AKDO metal tiles and leathered Silverwave granite countertops, complementing the custom-painted grey cabinetry. The existing heated tile floors remained intact, providing both warmth and elegance. A custom raw-edge dining table completed the soft, modern look, creating a seamless blend of function and style.
